The countdown to the ORLEN Lang Team Race in Bytów is on! The event will traditionally bring the prestigious amateur cycling series to a close. The final race of the season will take place on 19 September and will lead riders through the home region of Czesław Lang. As in previous years, the event will also feature the Czesław Lang Parade and Race.
The family celebration of cycling is fast approaching. This year, the ORLEN Lang Team Race once again attracted thousands of cycling enthusiasts to its routes. The three-race series opened with the May event in Arłamów. In August, the ORLEN Tour de Pologne Amatorów – Ryszard Szurkowski Memorial was held on the route from BUKOVINA Resort to the Rusiń-Ski Ski Station.
Now it is time for the final chapter of this year’s ORLEN Lang Team Race series – the race in Bytów, the town where Czesław Lang began his cycling journey many years ago. It was here, at the local Baszta Bytów cycling club, that he achieved his first successes before setting out on the road to the international cycling scene.
Cycling competition will return to the Pomeranian Voivodeship and Bytów for the second time this year. In August, professional riders competing in the 83rd Tour de Pologne UCI WorldTour passed through the Kashubian town, where they received a warm welcome from local cycling fans.
On 19 September, crowds of amateur cyclists will come to Bytów for the grand finale of the ORLEN Lang Team Race. The race will take place on picturesque and hilly Kashubian roads, with riders able to choose between two distances – MINI and MAXI, covering 41 and 108 kilometres respectively.
Amateur cyclists will compete for victories in their respective age categories at the ORLEN Lang Team Race in Bytów, as well as for the overall and team classifications of the entire ORLEN Lang Team Race 2026 series.
Once again, the Bytów event will have a strong family character. In addition to the main amateur race, the Lang Team organisers, led by Czesław Lang, have prepared a special attraction for families with children. On 19 September, the Czesław Lang Parade and Race will also take place, giving the youngest cycling enthusiasts the opportunity to join in the fun.
The Race Office will be located at 13 Mickiewicza Street in Bytów and will be open on Friday, 18 September, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and on race day from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
With plenty of cycling attractions prepared by the organisers, the ORLEN Lang Team Race in Bytów is a true celebration of cycling that should not be missed!
